No decisions about us without us

I am running for office to ensure our communities voice is being prioritized and that I continue to advocate for our students needs and wants. I am determined to develop safety measures that keep our students safe in and out of school, investing in student mental health specialists who can work with our students, their teachers and their families, and addressing classroom sizes in order to have a better student - teacher ratio. As a former student of the district, I will work to create a welcoming school district that helps all students succeed.

  • School & Student Safety

Ensuring all our students are safe is a priority. Taking safety measures must continue at all school building along with educational trainings for teachers and students.

  • Classroom Sizes

The smaller the classrooms, the more attention each student receives. It is important to invest in keeping our teachers and hiring new teachers that reflect our student demographics.

  • Mental Health

Our most vulnerable students who are experiencing mental health issues need to have the appropriate services provided to them. We must ensure that each student is receiving the necessary resources in order to achieve graduation.
